ACR Poker, formerly known as Americas Cardroom, has long been in search of a permanent partner for a live-poker tour, and it has perhaps found that through its own brand ambassador, Chris Moneymaker. In a new aspect of ACR’s partnership with the famed 2023 WSOP Main Event champ, ACR Poker will be offering 25 main-event seat packages to the Moneymaker Poker Tour’s stop in Daytona Beach, Florida, later this month.
The Moneymaker Poker Tour officially launched in May with a series at another Florida room, the Palm Beach Kennel Club. Beginning August 17, the Moneymaker Tour shifts down Florida’s Atlantic Coast for a 12-day run at the Daytona Beach Racing and Card Club.
That’s where ACR Poker enters the picture. Online players at ACR now have the opportunity to win one of 25 $2,500 travel packages to the Moneymaker Tour Daytona Beach main event, each of which includes the $1,500 buy-in to the main event, which begins on August 24, plus $1,000 in expense money for travel or other uses.
ACR Poker will award a separate small handful of the Moneymaker Tour packages for weekly winners of its “The Beast” tourney leaderboard, but the 25 seat packages specified in its promotional announcement will be awarded in an August 13 Mega Satellite. The entry fee to the August 13 Mega is $95.
The Moneymaker Tour’s May debut drew an unusual number of well-known pros who helped support the launch of the tour, and a similar scene will likely unfold in August. ACR also notes that the main event’s final table on August 28 will also be live-streamed. A PDF of the entire Moneymaker Poker Tour Daytona Beach schedule shows all 14 events, including multi-flight tourneys, that will be offered.
